New at OMD! Printable Party Sets!

OMD! is *very* excited to announce the new party printables products (hmm, try saying THAT five times fast!). Newly added to the shop are two brand-new completely original party sets.
First, there's Pretty Little Penguin (adoooorable for you little gal's winter birthday!) This set includes a "Happy Birthday" banner, a 5x7 invitation, a cupcake topper 2" circle & a 2" circle "Thank you" tag for those party favors & treat bags!

Next, there's the Little Monsters printable set. Inspired by my own little monster (the dog--not the baby), this set is jam-packed with adorable little creatures that aren't too scary for any little one.Included in this listing, there's an invitation (all of the wording is completely customizable--along with the birthday numbers!)

There's also a banner featuring the cutest little monsters you ever have seen. Everything's print-your-own, so you can print as many as you'd like!!!New to this listing, there are three cupcake wraps to fully customize your party potential! How adorable! Again, print as many as you'd like!!!

The Design Process-- Custom Logo

Last week, Oh My Dot! won an alchemy bid request for a custom logo, banner & avatar. {Banners & avatars are sort of like storefront signs on Etsy.} I worked with a lovely gal named Myra who is an incredibly talented crochet-er. {I'm not exactly sure what to call someone who crochets, but crochet-er sounds good to me.} She told me she wanted something bright & whimsical. She said she liked owls & the color blue. I sent her a few concept samples & got her opinions of them.

She liked the second one with the owl best. We worked together to create exactly what she was looking for, which ended up looking a little something like this:

Whoa! It's a whole new world here at OMD!'s blog! Thanks to *incredible* help from the very tech-savvy Adam Lewis, the blog is looking pretty spiffy! Anywhooo. On to the fun stuff! Here are some recent designs by OMD!

This is the custom logo I designed for a new etsy shop, Simply Darling. They make the *cutest* hair bows, korkers & tutu's! My husband has kindly asked that I do not put any of the aforementioned hair bows or tutu's on our son. Bummer.

These cute little flashcards are part of a set that Pearl ordered for her niece & nephew. She asked that the L & D cards were personalized with photos of Lukas & Danika. They turned out so cute! I threw in a two extra cards so "Aunt Pearl" & "Uncle Ronnie" could have their own flashcards too! :o) ***In unrelated news, these two threw the BEST Pampered Chef party I've ever attended!!! The food was simply to die for! ***

This little cutie is going on a baby shower invitation! Justine wanted to do a bear theme with brown & blue. I think the mom-to-be is going to love it! :o)

Christmas is just 74 days away! I've been designing my little fingers to the bone creating lots & lots of fun Christmas photo cards! Look for them in the shop soon! Here's one of my favorites. Perhaps I'm a bit partial though.

I got my very first set of business cards this week. I designed them myself & I'm super proud of them! {I taped one to our fridge, just so I could show it off.... is that geeky?)

And.... since I love having business cards {I truly think *everyone* needs to have a business card... even if you don't have a business. It just makes you feel important!}, I decided to design another one {you know, for when these ones run out...eventually.}

Finally! I think I have everything just about how I want it! It's taken some time, and I'm sure I'll think of lots of other changes I want to make, but for now, I'm thrilled!

I'm still in the process of adding more items to my Etsy shop {www.etsy.com/shop/ohmydot}, but they do take a little more time. I'm just so excited to get more things up & ready for sale!
